उरवाई गेट पर बनेगा वंडर पार्क, निगमायुक्त ने किया निरीक्षण
ग्वालियर। नगर निगम आयुक्त हर्ष सिंह ने 15वें वित्त आयोग की राशि से चेतकपुरी से बंसत विहार तक की रोड को डस्ट फ्री करने के लिए रोड के दोनो ओर इंटर लॉकिंग पेवर टाइल्स लगाई गई एवं उरवाई गेट पर बन रहे वेस्ट टू वंडर पार्क का निरीक्षण कर संबंधित अधिकारियों को आवश्यक दिशा निर्देश दिए। निगमायुक्त श्री सिंह ने अधिकारियों को यह निर्देश दिये हैं कि यह पार्क वेस्ट टू वंडर टीम पर बनाया जाना है। ऐसे में इसका निर्माण इतने अच्छे ढंग से किया जाये कि ग्वालियर वासियों के साथ बाहर से आने वाले पर्यटक भी इसे देखने आयें। इसका निर्माण किले के मुख्यद्वार उरवाई गेट के समीप किया जा रहा है। यह वर्तमान में कचरे का ठिया बन चुका है। निर्माण के बाद यहां लाइटिंग की जायेगी। साथ ही दो दर्जन पशु पक्षियों की की कलाकृति भी बनाई जायेगीं जिसे देखने के लिये बड़ी संख्या में शहरवासी यहां आ सकेंगे। अभी यह स्थान पूरी तरह से कचरे का ढेर बन चुका है। धीरे धीरे अतिक्रमण भी होने लगे हैं। उन सबको साफ करके यहां शीघ्र निर्माण कार्य शुरू करने के निर्देश निगमायुक्त ने प्रोजेक्ट आफिसर अमित गुप्ता को दिये हैं। इस अवसर पर सहायक नोडल अधिकारी मनीष यादव के साथ नगर निगम के जनसम्पर्क अधिकारी उमेश बाबू गुप्ता भी मौजूद रहे।
निगमायुक्त श्री सिंह ने बसंत विहार से चेतक पुरी तक बनाई गई रोड का निरीक्षण किया। उक्त रोड को डस्ट फ्री बनाने के लिए रोड के दोनो तरफ पेवर ब्लॉक इंटरलॉकिंग टाइल्स लगाई गई है। उक्त टाइल्स लगने से दोनो कॉलोनी व रोड डस्ट फ्री तो बनेगी ही साथ ही पर्यावरण भी प्रदूषित नहीं होगा। इस योजना में सड़क किनारे की धूल को रोकने के लिए पेवर टाइल्स लगाये जा रहे हैं।
