जयपुर, 31 अगस्त। राज्य सरकार द्वारा जैसलमेर जिले के रामदेवरा तीर्थ के वार्षिक मेले में अन्य राज्यों से आने वाले यात्री वाहनों को टैक्स में छूट देने का निर्णय लिया है। मुख्यमंत्री श्री अशोक गहलोत ने वित्त विभाग के इस प्रस्ताव को स्वीकृति दी है।
राज्य सरकार के निर्णय अनुसार मोटर वाहन कर एवं विशेष पथ कर में यह छूट मेला अवधि 15 सितम्बर, 2023 से 29 सितंबर, 2023 (कुल 15 दिन) तक रहेगी। उल्लेखनीय है कि मेले में आने वाले यात्री वाहनों से 10 दिवस की अवधि के लिए देय कर लगभग 17,000 रूपए प्रति वाहन होता है। अब श्री गहलोत की स्वीकृति के बाद यात्री वाहन संचालकों से मात्र 6500 रूपए ही लिए जाएंगे।
गौरतलब है कि रामदेवरा वार्षिक मेले में अन्य राज्यों से लगभग 1500 वाहनों में प्रतिवर्ष बड़ी संख्या में श्रद्धालु आते हैं। इन्हें राहत देने के लिए वाहन एवं पथ करों में छूट के निर्णय से राज्य सरकार लगभग 1.57 करोड़ रूपए का वित्तीय भार वहन करेगी।
उल्लेखनीय है कि मुख्यमंत्री द्वारा वर्ष 2018, 2019 और 2022 में भी राजस्थान मोटर वाहन अधिनियम, 1988 की धारा 88 (8) के अन्तर्गत जारी परमिट पर आने वाले वाहनों पर देय कर का परिहार किया गया था। वर्ष 2020 और वर्ष 2021 में कोरोना महामारी के कारण यह छूट नहीं दी गई थी।
